Super C motorhomes are the most capable coaches in the Class C family. They keep the cab-over profile and front-engine layout that make a Class C easy to live with, then drop it onto a heavy-duty commercial truck chassis with a diesel powerplant. The result is a motorhome that tows harder, rides more planted, and lasts longer than a standard Class C, while staying more truck-like to drive than a big Class A.
At 24/7 MotorCoach we are the super store for Super C's. Super C is our specialty, not a sideline. We stock new and pre-owned coaches, take Super C consignments, and service what we sell, all from our Las Vegas showroom, and we ship to buyers across the country.

A standard Class C is built on a van cutaway chassis, most often the Ford E-450, with a gas engine up front. A Super C starts from a much stronger foundation. The common chassis are the Ford F-550 and F-600 Super Duty, the Freightliner S2RV and M2, the International CV series, and the Ram 5500, all paired with a diesel engine.
That heavier base changes what the coach can do:
What it keeps from the Class C: the cab-over bunk for extra sleeping or storage, and a footprint that most buyers find more manageable than a full Class A.
Buyers cross-shop all three, so here is the honest comparison.
Super C vs Class A. Both come in diesel and both are luxurious at the top end. The difference is the front end. A Class A diesel pusher has a flat bus-style face with the engine in the rear. A Super C has a truck cab with the engine in front, which means better forward crash structure, easier and often cheaper engine service, and a more familiar driving position. Class A wins on flat-front panoramic views and, usually, on maximum interior length. Super C wins on towing, off-pavement capability, and peace of mind for drivers stepping up from a truck.
Super C vs standard Class C. Same body style, very different capability. A standard Class C on a van chassis is lighter, cheaper, gas-powered, and easy to drive, which makes it a great family starter. A Super C is the heavy-duty upgrade: diesel, far more towing, more slides and living space, and higher-end finishes, at a higher price.

Not every trip needs a 30,000 pound tow rating. We also carry a selection of standard Class C motorhomes for buyers who want easier driving and a lower entry price. Tell us how you travel and we will point you to the right class rather than oversell you.
A Super C is a Class C motorhome built on a heavy-duty diesel truck chassis instead of a light-duty van chassis. It keeps the cab-over bunk and front-engine layout of a Class C but adds far more towing capacity, durability, and living space.
The most common are the Ford F-550 and F-600, the Freightliner S2RV and M2, the International CV series, and the Ram 5500, always paired with a diesel engine.
Depending on the chassis and configuration, Super C coaches typically tow from about 10,000 up to 30,000 pounds or more, which out-tows most Class A motorhomes.
Neither is better across the board. A Super C offers stronger towing, better forward crash protection, easier engine access, and a truck-style drive. A Class A offers a flat-front view and often more interior length. It comes down to how you travel and what you tow.
